Respiratory Transformation Partnership clinical leadership

Jonathan FuldRespiratory Transformation Partnership (RTP) Chair
Dr Jonathan Fuld is National Clinical Director for Respiratory Disease at NHS England. He is a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with extensive leadership experience. His focus includes service innovation, workforce development and quality improvement. Jonathan has led multiple national respiratory programmes, including COPD and asthma.

Mike CrooksClinical Lead – Asthma Neighbourhood (workstream 1)
Professor Mike Crooks is a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine in Hull. He specialises in COPD, digital health and respiratory pathway redesign. Mike has led initiatives to support earlier diagnosis and integrated care. He contributes to research and innovation in respiratory services nationally. Mike leads Workstream 1 of the RTP.

Tom BrownClinical Lead – Asthma Biologics (workstream 2)
Dr Tom Brown is a Respiratory Consultant based in Portsmouth. His interests include asthma, COPD and acute respiratory care. He has supported service transformation across hospital and community settings. Tom is active in clinical education and workforce development.

Sarah ElkinClinical Lead – COPD Neighbourhood (workstream 3)
Dr Sarah Elkin is a Respiratory Consultant in London. She has expertise in asthma, COPD and integrated respiratory care. She has been involved in tackling health inequalities in urban populations. Sarah works across hospital and community teams to improve patient outcomes.

James DoddClinical Lead – COPD Biologics (workstream 4)
Professor James Dodd is a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine in Bristol. His clinical expertise is in complex airways disease including severe asthma and COPD. He has experience in translational research, digital therapeutics and leading local and regional respiratory service redesign. James contributes to national respiratory networks and clinical improvement projects.
