Advancing innovation and improving care for a stronger NHS

Health Innovation Oxford and Thames Valley has a proven track record for accelerating uptake of innovation in the NHS and supporting healthcare innovators. We improve patients' safety, experience and outcomes, and foster economic growth. We have over a decade of experience working with the NHS, industry and universities to build a health service fit for the future. We are part of a national network commissioned by NHS England and the Office for Life Sciences (OLS) and are hosted by Oxford University Hospitals (OUH).

We are embedded in local health systems. We find, develop and support adoption of evidence-based innovations to address unmet health needs and tackle the NHS’s biggest challenges. Adopting innovative AI, medical devices, novel medicines, diagnostics and digital technology enables delivery of the government's three healthcare shifts - sickness to prevention, hospital to community and analogue to digital.
