Joe Korge is a physiotherapist in mental health based in Oxford. He has a particular interest in physical activity in severe mental illness.
He became an Oxford AHSN Fellow on the Evidence Based Healthcare Masters programme in 2014 and graduated in 2017.
He said: “I’ve learned so much. The research skills and knowledge gained from the modules has changed how I use research in my own practice. I feel confident when appraising evidence and my patients are definitely benefitting from better clinically reasoned treatment and management.
“I’m sharing the skills I’ve learned with my colleagues and helping to improve the way we work and develop as a team.
“The best thing about the course has been being surrounded by inspirational people who are driven towards improving care in their workplace.
“Anyone with the opportunity to go on a course like this should do it – there’s everything here to achieve the goals that you want to achieve.”
