Dr Mamta Bajre is Head of Health Economics and Methodology and leads the Industry Support Team, supporting innovators, NHS organisations, and researchers to generate the evidence required for successful adoption and scale-up of healthcare innovations. Her expertise includes health economic evaluation, early value assessment, implementation science, feasibility studies, system readiness assessment, and real-world evidence generation.
She works closely with industry partners, academic groups, clinicians, and healthcare leaders to evaluate innovative technologies and care models, helping ensure that new solutions are clinically effective, economically viable, and deliver measurable benefits for patients and healthcare systems. With significant experience across digital health, medical technologies, and service redesign, she also advises on funding and evidence development strategies to support applications to NIHR, Innovate UK, and other major funding programmes.
Her passion lies in bridging the gap between innovation and adoption, ensuring that promising technologies not only reach the NHS but also deliver sustainable value in routine practice.
