Richard is Chief Executive of the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI). He joined the HIOTV Board in 2025. He has a background in the economics of innovation, technology and health care, and has spent his career working on policy issues shaping the future of the global life sciences industry. Richard was awarded an MBE for services to the life sciences and pharmaceutical industry in the 2024 King’s Birthday Honours.
