- Biography
Professor Michael Crooks is a Consultant Respiratory Physician and Professor of Respiratory Medicine at Hull York Medical School. He also works as an honorary consultant at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where he leads services for patients with chronic respiratory conditions. His clinical and research interests focus on the diagnosis and management of asthma and COPD, including the use of technology to improve care and outcomes.
Within the Respiratory Transformation Partnership, he is Clinical Lead for Asthma Neighbourhood Development. He works with clinicians, systems and patients to support earlier diagnosis, improve risk stratification, and deliver more consistent, evidence-based asthma care in community settings.
