Health Education England (HEE) and the Oxford AHSN are extending an invitation to NHS professionals to apply to join the latest cohort of our acclaimed programme for healthcare innovators.
Since it was established in 2016, more than 200 NHS staff have taken part in the ‘Adopting innovation and managing change in healthcare settings’ programme delivered by Bucks New University. You could follow in their footsteps by joining the next programme starting in September 2020 which will be delivered online for the first time. Find out more here.
The free Masters-level programme helps identify and introduce new ways of improving patient care. It focuses on system change and service integration and is suitable for people working in primary and secondary care. Previous participants had a wide range of experience and expertise and came from NHS organisations in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Milton Keynes and Swindon.
Projects developed by them as a result of the course had a significant impact within teams, organisations and systems. You can see what some of those who have completed the programme had to say about it in this short video.
The time commitment is approximately one day per month for a year (two modules, each comprising six study days). Students completing the programme are awarded a Post Graduate Certificate (60 Masters level credits).
The ‘Adopting innovation and managing change in healthcare settings’ programme is funded by HEE. Participants pay no fees.
The deadline for applications to join the latest programme is 7 August 2020. Places are limited.
